Isaiah 7:10-17. Yes, we broke with the Mark series in order to tie this Sunday message with the season of Christmas. How many times have I heard this passage read close to Christmas? A lot! Would it surprise you to know that the most original passage in Hebrew speaks of a “young woman” with child, not a “virgin” which was the later translation into Greek?
